How Dundrum.ie got its mojo back

Background

The existing Dundrum.ie website was not working for the Dundrum Town Centre or for its target audience. Store listings and key centre information were difficult to find. Promotions and features were unclear and disordered. ICAN set about creating a better user experience for those planning a visit to the centre.

Project

We planned and built a new website for Dundrum which would meet user needs, first and foremost. Opening times, location, store details and basic information were reorganised, with a new focus on offering value in promotions. We also introduced key functionality such as site search (important for a store directory).

Through use of tagging and application of good content publishing standards, we allowed users to find all stores which stocked a particular brand in the centre. For example, searching for Sony finds all of the stores stocking Sony products.

Results

Dundrum Town Centre gets upwards of 500,000 page views per month and growing. All stores now have listings with offers, details, promotions and maps.
