ICAN, an award winning web agency is looking for an experienced Web Developer. The role is a mix of front-end development and LAMP, and is an excellent opportunity to join a motivated and collaborative team designing innovative websites and mobile applications.

What we’re looking for

• At least 4 years development experience
• Expert in HTML, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and JQuery
• Someone who is self motivated with great attention to detail
• Object oriented programming experience: PHP and exposure to PHP MVC Frameworks
• Custom development of WordPress or Drupal
• LAMP environment installation, setup and optimization skills.
• Knowledge of internet services: DNS, SMTP, SSL, etc.
• Knowledge of rational databases like MySQL.

Nice to have

• Responsive design implementation or native mobile development
• Facebook Development and Integration
• Exposure to Amazon Web Services

Your Role at ICAN

You’ll be part of the web division at ICAN as a Web Developer, working closely with a team of UX designers, visual designers, project managers and developers.

• You will contribute to the design and development of client solutions, including web and mobile.
• Working closely with Web and Client teams to ensure excellence at each stage of the web development lifecycle, producing secure, scalable, high volume web applications from functional specifications, through design, documentation, to proactively helping resolve technical issues
• Adapting and constantly improving approaches to front end development and usability to ensure best possible functionality
