As Creative Technologist, you’ll be part of a creative team producing innovative advertising concepts and technical platform support that enhance the solutions we provide clients. You’ll enjoy a challenging variety of project types and working with a team of committed people who live and breathe digital projects.

You will understand the business of marketing, advertising, and branding, take a strategic, creative and people-centric view of how to connect people and brands, and understand the kinds of mediating technologies that can best be used to make those engaging experiences where the connection happens.

Background:

• Will have a background in coding with a passion for graphic, web and motion design
• 5+ years experience in similar environment
• Computer Science or Multimedia Degree
• Deep knowledge of the general technology landscape

Must be a legend in:

• Adobe Flash (Actionscript 2 & 3)
• Adobe After Effects (Video post-production)
• 3D animation(software package of choice)
• HTML5, CSS, Javascript(AJAX & jQuery)

Should have experience with:

• The LAMP stack
• APIs/Mashups
• Mobile Apps
• Augmented Reality
• Physical Computing

Decided to study Multimedia in college because it sounded cool. Quickly found out otherwise but now he's stuck in the world of digital. Was once a web designer and then one day was made a creative technologist. He still thinks this is a title Ian made up as part of a long-running practical joke.
