Music fans, they’ve created your app. It’s called SongPop and it’s a whole lot of fun.

But be warned, it’s highly addictive.

SongPop is an app that pits friends, or random people, against each other to test their knowledge of music. All you have to do is name that tune. The faster you get it, the more points you earn. It’s as simple as that. Think ‘Draw Something’ for music fans, but more fun.

If you have friends that fancy themselves as connoisseurs of music it can get highly competitive. I have several. Hence I was playing it late last night and first thing this morning.

You have a choice to play with 5 different genres of music. But the more you play, the more coins you earn. And the more coins you earn, the more genres of music you can unlock. So, diminishing returns are delayed with each new genre. Smart and very social. And, with 2 millions daily users it’s getting  popular.
